SnapSessions! presents Episode 30, featuring an interview with actress/writer/improviser, Edi Patterson as well as Doug Nunn’s Road to Publication (the story of his journey to publish his book–Jolly Old Elf–the Art of Santa H. Claus), and a salute to the classic science fiction film–The Day the Earth Stood Still.

Edi Patterson talks about growing up in Texas, her early fascination with Improv theater and move to Los Angeles in 2000 to work with LA Theatresports/Impro Theatre and the famed Groundlings Theatre group. She talks about her joy in improv and sketch writing and describes auditioning for shows like HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm and Vice Principals, and transition to starring roles on The Righteous Gemstones and the hit 2019 film, Knives Out. Along the way Edi provides her joyous and good-natured perspective on Texas, showbiz, and being married to fellow improviser/actor Dan O’Connor.

In addition SnapSessions! Episode 30 includes The Road to Publication, Doug Nunn’s journey in the world of self-publishing as he works to get his biography of Santa Claus airborne, and a tribute to the science fiction film, The Day the Earth Stood Still, one of the greatest and most inspirational space movies of all time.
