Episode 20 – Peter and Sheila Jowers
SnapSessions! presents Episode 20, featuring an interview with organic farmers and land pioneers, Peter & Sheila Jowers, as well as articles “Corona and the Black Plague” and “A Tribute to John Prine”.
Peter & Sheila Jowers talk about the building of the Adsett Court land partnership in the West Country of England from the mid 1970s to 2010, their raising of 3 fabulous daughters, their commitment to the World of Music and Dance in the 1980s and 90s, their year long participation in the BBC “reality show” Castaways 2000 in the Orkney Islands north of Scotland, and their move to the South of France about a decade ago to remodel an old French farmhouse. All in all, a fascinating and environmentally progressive partnership.
Episode 20 is 93 minutes long and includes an intro, an article “Corona and the Black Plague” comparing our contemporary fight with the Corona Virus with the onslaught of the Black Plague in the 14th century (starts at 1:00), and a “Tribute to folksinger, John Prine” (starts at 16:30), as well as our interview with Peter and Sheila Jowers (starts at 27:47).
