Episode 12 – Isolde Fischer

SnapSessions! presents Episode 12 featuring an interview with German actress/improviser Isolde Fischer, as well as an ode to 1960s’ country music star, Roger Miller and an article on French Enlightenment writer, Denis Diderot.

Fischer talks about growing up as a Swabian farm girl in the countryside near Stuttgart, her studies at Heidelberg University, moving on to improvisational theater and her development as a comic performer, and then to her movie work with her husband, film director Stefan Hillebrand. Her long-time collaboration with the improv group, Dramalight and her time as an actress, improviser, and coach and her political activism is explored in detail.

Episode 12 is 60:27 minutes long and includes an intro, an homage to the ridiculously wonderful American country star, Roger Miller (starts 1:00) an article on “Denis Diderot, Enlightenment Hero, Bon Vivant and Mensch” (starts 9:55), and the interview with Isolde Fischer (starts 24:10)
